Carnival Fun!

Taylor's preschool had a little carnival and we decided to take Taylor. Aubrey also goes to the same school and Taylor adores her as you can see. They got their face painted, played some games, did some crafts, and jumped in the bounce house. What a fun time they had!!

Meeting Charlie

Taylor finally got to meet Charlie after so much anticipation of her arrival. Both girls caught Croup the week she was born so we had to wait to weeks before they were in the clear to meet their new cousin. We didn't want to take any chances. So after we got back from the coast, they were allowed to meet her. Taylor was so good with her and of course had to hold her. She would just pat and rub her little cheeks. She kept telling "uncle Chad" to turn her head so she was looking at her. She sang her songs. So precious! Colbie loved her too, but didn't know how to be gentle. She would get so excited by slapping her face....showing her love!

Charlie is such a good mellow baby....Chad and Laine are lucky parents! We love you Charlie!!

Zoo day

Today Taylor's preschool went to the Fresno Zoo to see the animals. They made these cute shirts for the kids to wear, that were WAY too big, but cute anyway! Taylor was so excited to go to the zoo!
I was trying to take a class picture, but all the kids scattered before I could make it!
Taylor and Aubrey checking out the otters and seals.

They are best buds! Aubrey is our neighbor friend so cute!
The girls having a snack. It was sooooo cold so we had to bundle up good. It was nice to be outside though. The girls are going to take a good nap!

My baby is kicking

So last night we put Taylor to bed and she was fighting to go to sleep. So the last time she gets out of bed and waddles down the hall, she looks at Justin and says "ohhh my baby is kicking". She was very dramatic about it too! Omgosh "really"?? She is just toooo funny!

Charlie Elizabeth is here!!!

Charlie Elizabeth is here! She arrived at 5:45am this morning 7lbs. 10oz. and 21 inches long. She is such a beautiful girl! Mom and I got to go see her this morning after waiting in the waiting room from 10pm last night until after 6 am this morning!

Laine went in last night around 6pm and dilated to a 9 by 12am. Then everything came to a hault when the doctor said Charlie was faced the wrong way. They tried to move her the right way up and Laine pushed for over an hour and finally was told she needed to have a c-section. Poor girl!!
Chad is such a proud daddy!! We can't wait to go back and hold her!!

Happy Easter!!

We started off Easter decorating eggs the night before. Taylor loved it since she loves painting and doing anything messy. Daddy helped too!!
The girls baskets were fun to put together and they loved them! We hid eggs with money in them and Taylor found them this morning. Then we got the girls piggy banks out and Taylor put the money in each one. We are saving up to start accounts for both the girls so we steal daddy's change whenever we can. haha! Taylor now knows to ask daddy for money.

The girls woke up VERY early so they were ready for their baskets and to see what the Easter bunny brought:) Then Uncle Paul came and also brought baskets as well as Chad, Laine, Nana, Papa Kevin, Hannah, Grandma Debbie and Papa Bernie. They got lots of goodies from everyone...thanks!

We got all dressed up and went to church, of course they were matching:) Church was AWESOME!!! Always a nice reminder of what is really important in life.
We came home and had Easter dinner with Chad, Laine and Paul. It was nice to have company and spend the time with family. We missed our families that are further away and we couldn't see this year. The Kelley family looking tired from a long day. Happy Easter!!
