Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's Day began at 5am when Justin and I woke up to go to the hospital for my surgery. I was there by 6am and in surgery by 8am (the doctor was late of course, it was supposed to be 7:30am). I was a hysterical mess and cried before they even put my IV in, the nurse got the doctor to give me something to "calm" me down before I was put under anesthesia. I cried as soon as they transferred me onto the operating table. Anyway, it was a rough start to my day, BUT I had some amazing nurses, an amazing husband and mother:) Without them I would have been way worse off.
Funny thing I kept telling Justin I NEED a picture of the girls in their outfits. I had them set out for my mom the week before..haha I am a freak! They were adorable when I got home...so I finally got my pictures taken. Aren't they so cute?? My brother and Laine were at my house helping my mom with the girls and after I took many naps my friend Channone and Kelly came and brought us dinner (thanks girls) they are way too good to me!

Thanks for all the prayers and help!! I am recovering pretty quickly so that is nice. I guess my c-sections made this a piece of cake! I mean it, for me this is nothing compared to the pain you go through with a c-section. My mom is awesome and is helping until Saturday morning and then Justin will be home to help me the rest of the time. That is one St. Patty's day I will never forget!!

Fun times!

Yesterday we went to the park with our friends Kelly, Keaton, Channone & Noah. Colbie loves swinging on the swing and Taylor was off running and playing with Keaton. It was a beautiful day! We walked there from Kelly's house, it was such a nice walk and nice to get out in the fresh air. The kids enjoyed it and took GREAT naps when we got home. We are looking forward to the nice weather coming!
Monday the moms and tots group had a playgroup at the Tulare Tractor Museum. It ended up being Keaton, Taylor & one other little boy Dominic. They had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of the kids on the tractors. What a neat place!!

Taylor in her daddy's truck on the way to her second day of school. She loves it! She can't wait to go and is so excited to be there! She likes to color and play with her friends. Every time we ask her how her day was and what she did she says "I played" so cute!

Taylor likes to play outside in the dirt. And Colbie watches while she swings:)

Next week is my surgery, I am sooooo nervous, but grateful that my mom will be coming up to help! I know the girls will enjoy having her around too!

Taylor's first day

Okay so I am a horrible mom because I didn't take a picture of her going to preschool on her first day...HELLO I always take pictures! Oops! I was trying to get her there on time and just forgot....it is a lot harder when you have 2 kids and yourself trying to get out the door on time.

She had a lot of fun and didn't want to come home. I missed her, but I did get some things done and enjoyed my time with Colbie. Wow it was so quiet!

She is only going 2 days a week at first so we will see. She didn't nap today so she was very cranky when I picked her up. She is used to getting 2 hour naps so this will be a change if they don't make take her nap. We will see how that goes.

February fun!

Taylor, Colbie and I went to our friend Kelly's house last week so the kids could go to the park, well it was rainy and cold so we stayed in. All the kids had fun anyway.....this is Keaton and Colbie on his motorcycle...haha already wanting to ride:)

We have been busy the past few weeks. Justin and I started working out a little over a month ago with P90X. WOW! It is intense, but we both feel great! I am hoping to loose this baby weight that I gained with both girls!

I have had a lot of Cookie Lee shows keeping me busy. 4 last month and then already one this month. I have 2 more this week and a few more later in the month. I love my business and I am so thankful I can stay home with the girls and make some money in the evening. My show last Saturday was a $900 show YEP! I never made that in a week let alone a night!!

I found out that I have to have my gall bladder removed on the 17th of this month, not looking forward to that, but what can I do. How do they expect me to handle two kids after that...WHEW! God sure is testing me!
Colbie is standing and getting into everything. Poor girl fell and got her first black eye as you can see in the pictures above. She is such a tough cookie though!

I decided to take the girls to the park in town because it was such a beautiful day! Colbie loved the swing while Taylor ran and played.

Taylor starts preschool tomorrow and she is so excited! We missed her dance classes last month so she is making them up this month on top of her regular classes. So we go to school 2 days a week and dance 2 days a week. Someone is going to be having some fun!!
